Design Services of Georgia, Inc. is a Residential and Commercial Interior Design firm.
E Dale Trice, President, is a graduate of the University of Georgia, School of Business. With ten years experience in the home furnishings industry as national sales manager for a lighting and wall décor company, Mr. Trice formed Design Services in 1985. That same year he also opened Pine Cottage, offering fine Irish and English antiques. For 14 years, Mr. Trice and his staff imported Irish, English and Scottish furniture and accessories in the Atlanta wholesale and retail market.

In 1985 Mr. Trice began a creative relationship with Ruff Hewn by designing various showrooms throughout the United States. In 1990 an Adirondack lodge was built in New York City as a sales office for the high- end clothing manufacturer. During the course of ten years, Design Services successfully completed eight projects for Ruff Hewn. Then in 1993 he designed a line of home furnishings for the clothing manufacturer which included furniture, wall décor, lighting and floor coverings.

In 2003 Design Services expanded its services into the state of Florida, forming Design Services of Florida, Inc. and a retail experience, Design on the Gulf ( designonthegulf.com). The retail store features a 2500 square- foot rug gallery, art, antiques, lighting, mantels, wall decor, upholstery and gifts. In 2004 Annie Bowes joined the staff as Business Manager. In 2006 Michael Vriesema joined the team as Operations Manager. Grace Ratcliff, store manager, has a staff of three dedicated employees to insure the utmost in customer service.

Anna Hancy, a graduate of Auburn University School of Interior Design, worked for Design Services from 2004 thru 2006. In 2008 Anna rejoined the Design Services team as an ASID member and registered Interior Designer in the state of Florida passing her NCIDQ in April 2006. Anna currently serves on the Auburn University Interior Design Advisory Board. Design Services is honored to have such an esteemed and talented member of their staff.

Design Services` recent projects include extensive renovation of homes in Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Seagrove Beach, Watercolor and Watersound Beach, Florida and San Francisco, CA. Currently Mr. Trice and his staff are working with clients in Atlanta, Seagrove Beach, Rosemary Beach, Watersound Beach, Alys Beach , Watercolor Beach, Seaside, Florida, Franklin, Tennessee, Ballingary, Ireland and San Francisco on new construction projects and extensive renovations. Whether working on a $300,000 condominium or a $9,000,000 home the Design Team works efficiently with any budget.

In January 2007 Design Services of Florida began a venture in building a 10,000 square-foot showroom, office and warehouse in Watersound North Commerce Park. Completion date is scheduled for the summer of 2008.
